From Drawing to 3D-Printed Playmobil Figure

Thirteen pictures, five months: between October 2020 and March 2021 a Playmobil figure takes shape that was never on sale anywhere.

It starts as a drawing on screen. Then the printer runs, building yellow legs layer by layer. At the end the finished white figure stands on the table.

Home-made parts don’t stay in the display case

The printed pieces go into the dioramas and stand there among the bought figures — walls, accessories and whole houses included.

The pictures belong to Playmo 3D. The print files themselves are on playmofan.ch under 3D printing, free to download.
